Besan is used for multipurpose things, we will tell about some delicious recipes made from gram flour.

How to make bundi

To make bundi, take gram flour in a bowl. Add a pinch of soda and water to it. Mix all well, so that there is no lump in it. Whisk it well for 5-7 minutes, so that it becomes soft. When the dough becomes soft, heat the oil and make a drizzle with the help of a jar or a bundi-making vessel. Add bundi to the oil only after every time the dough is thrown. Bake it until golden yellow and remove it in a container with tissue paper, so that the oil is absorbed in the paper.

Bhajiya

Make delicious bhajiya from gram flour. You can make it only with onions or a lot of vegetables, such as red greens, spinach and cabbage.

Ingredients for making bhajiya

  • celery
  • Salt to taste

  • Half a teaspoon of soda
How to make

To make besan bhajiya, first take gram flour, salt, celery, soda, greens, green chillies and onions in a vessel. Add water to it and mix well, so that it becomes soft. You can also add 2-3 teaspoons of hot oil to make it extra soft. To make bhajiya, heat oil in the pan and start making bhajiya in it. Bake the bhajiya till it turns golden brown in colour and serve with your favourite chutney.

Chila

Besan chilla also known as besan pan cake is very simple to make.

  • Salt to taste

  • Green chillies
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped
How to make

To make besan chila, mix gram flour, green chillies, salt and coriander in a bowl and prepare the batter for the chilla by adding water. Now to make chilla, heat the pan on the gas and spread it a little oil. When the pan is hot, add the gram flour solution in a round shape. Bake the chilla well on both sides and serve hot with chutney and pickles.
