Constipation is a very common ailment that almost everyone has to deal with at some point in their lives. Some people, however, always own something. Such individuals must deal with skin and digestive issues as well.

In this regard, we spoke with dermatologist Dr. Amit Bangia to learn the impact constipation has on the skin. He commented, “If you have constipation, obviously your stomach will not be cleaned adequately. If the stomach is still filthy, the skin will also show the effects.

Dr. Amit also explains how constipation can cause issues with your skin.

Skin Rash

Constipation issues can cause skin irritation, itching, rashes, and other issues. Typically, you may notice red streaks or chalk on the face. They will occasionally sneeze, and they may also itch. These rashes frequently worsen to the point where they become nail cuts, and when they dry up, the crust freezes and even develops into facial scars. If you see any rashes, you should first seek the advice of a skin specialist to address the issue.

If your stomach is unclean, oil will start to escape from your skin pores as a result of the heat your stomach produces on your skin. When skin pores close as a result of this, the oil then plugs them, increasing the likelihood of developing pimples. It frequently manifests as whiteheads and blackheads. This disease worsens and is more painful for those who already struggle with acne.

You must therefore continue to thoroughly clean your skin and apply treatments that regulate skin oil on your face.
