Shah Rukh Khan’s film pathaan, recently opened in theatres on January 25 in time for the 74th Republic Day. Even before it opened in theatres, the movie was shattering records. According to Box Office India, the movie made 25 crore on its first Monday, bringing its domestic earnings to 294 crore net in six days after the Hindi version of K.G.F Chapter 2 became the first to do so.
Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Dimple Kapadia are also featured in the movie. The Siddharth Anand-directed movie features high-octane action scenes, Padukone in a previously unseen role, and Khan in his distinctive patriotic take.

The Pathaan team held a press conference in Mumbai on January 30 in the midst of all the love and success the movie and SRK are experiencing. As he greeted Mannat, Khan also posted a video to social media.

Pathan Collects Fastest ₹500 Crore
Today marks the sixth day that Pathaan has been in theatres. The movie has already broken a number of records and is now the quickest Bollywood movie to reach the $500 million club. Pathan has grossed $542 million worldwide after a successful five-day run at the box office, with 335 crore earned domestically and 207 crore abroad. “The celebration of #Pathaan continues! ” Yash Raj Films wrote, “Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Taran Adarsh, a rade analyst, referred to Pathaan’s box office success as a “tsunami”.
Siddharth Anand & YRF’s Succesful Spy Universe
In the same vein as the 2019 action thriller War, directed by Siddharth Anand and starring Hrithik Roshan, Pathaan, a spy movie from Yash Raj Films, is smashing box office records. War was initially surpassed by Pathan in pre-bookings, and is currently in box office records. The estimated box office revenue for War was 475 crore.
SRK’s 5-Year Hiatus
The Baadshah is back after a five-year absence following the underwhelming box office performance of his most recent movie Zero, which he co-wrote and co-starred with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. And the box office figures are evidence that the affection for Khan has only grown over time.
Return of Karan-Arjun
Fan favourite Karan-Arjun returned together on screen with Pathaan after over two decades and the audience can’t keep calm. Salman Khan had a cameo appearance in Pathaan.
