Epidural Headache: Know what it is by health expert

We assume you are aware of epidural if you are pregnant or a new mother. In order to relieve your pain during birth, a local anaesthetic is known as an epidural and is administered into your back. This is carried out both during vaginal and C-section deliveries. Typically, epidurals are administered during the first stage of labour for a normal birth.

An epidural causes a brief burning or stinging sensation when it is injected. From the belly button to the legs, the body becomes numb after receiving an epidural. You’re able to stay awake during giving birth thanks to it. The epidural often takes 10 to 15 minutes to start working.
