Naina Devi Temple
Naina Devi Shrine, a popular tourist destination in Nainital, is located on the shores of Naini Lake. It is a well-known Hindu shrine and one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India. The presiding deity of the Naina Devi Temple is Maa Naina Devi, also known as Mata Sati. According to Hindu mythology, the temple was built on the spot where Goddess Sati’s eyes landed when Lord Vishnu dismembered her body into 51 pieces.

Tiffin Top
Tiffin Top, also known as Dorothy’s Seat, is a popular tourist spot in Nainital. The Dorothy Seat at Tiffin Top, a stone work perch named after the artist, offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and Nainital city. From this vantage point, you can see the Kumaon Hills and Naini Lake. On clearer days, one can even see Nanda Devi’s stunning scenery.
Raj Bhawan, Governor’s House
The Governor of North West Province originally commissioned the construction of Raj Bhawan. It is now the Governor of Uttarakhand’s palace and one of Nainital’s most opulent attractions. The Governor’s House is a two-story Victorian Gothic mansion with 113 rooms, a garden, a pool, and a golf course. The structure is reminiscent of Scotland’s Castle.
Sattal Lake
Sattal Lake or Sat Tal is a group of seven connected freshwater lakes in the lower Himalayan Range. It is located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, close to the town of Bhimtal. These lakes are a visual treat, surrounded by Himalayan hills and a remarkable collection of oak and pine forests, colonial bungalows, and architectural churches.
