Vicky Kaushal is back at work after being last seen in Govinda Naam Mera. On Thursday, the actor gave a progress report on his ongoing movie Sam Bahadur. August of last year saw the start of filming for the Meghna Gulzar-directed film. The crew landed at “city number ten” today after filming in nine different locations up to this time. Vicky Kaushal’s Instagram account posted a selfie that appears to be from a flight. He’s wearing sunglasses, a black cap, and a pastel-colored sweatshirt. ‘Touchdown City Number Ten…’ Sam must be met once more.In the caption, the actor referred to Sam Bahadur. In case you didn’t know, Sam Bahadur is the biography of the late Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Along with them, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra appear in it.

Vicky Kaushal plays the title character in the film Sam Bahadur. He just uploaded a picture of himself next to the Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw monument. He added the word “Sam,” a home, and a red heart emblem to the image’s text. The Sam Bahadur movie’s release date was announced in December of the previous year by Vicky Kaushal and the production team. “365 days to go,” Vicky Kaushal teased in a tweet. Sam Bahadur will debut in theatres on January 12, 2023.
Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the Meghana Gulzar’s magnum opus would boast a star cast of Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh(as Indra Gandhi), Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick(as Lord Mountbatten), Richard Bhakti Klein(as Ambassador Keating), Saqib Ayub(Captain Attiqur Rahman) and Krishna Kant Singh Bundela(as Subedar Gurbaksh Singh). The movie is scheduled to come out in March 2023.
Vicky Kaushal shared a series of photos from the film’s set with director Meghna Gulzar and the rest of the cast and crew. “After more than 2 months of rigorous effort across 5 cities… it’s a schedule wrap for the bahadurs!!!” he wrote.
