After 13 years of marriage, T J Holmes has decided to divorce his wife due to rumours of an affair with “GMA3” co-anchor Amy Robach. The 45-year-old ABC co-anchor filed for divorce from immigration lawyer Marilee Fiebig in New York City on Wednesday.
In March 2010, Holmes and Fiebig, both 45, were married. They have a daughter named Sabine, 9 years old.
The co-anchor of “GMA3” also has Brianna and Jaiden from a prior union with Amy Ferson.
The divorce suit was filed after news broke last month about the alleged affair between T J Holmes and Robach, 49. When the Daily Mail published images and video that appeared to show something romantic was going on between the two married anchors. The two appeared to be holding hands in one image. In another, Robach is receiving a pat from Holmes.
Due to a rumoured affair, ABC has removed Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes from their roles as hosts on “GMA 3.”
In 2010, Robach wed Andrew Shue, a star of “Melrose Place.” In September, they put their New York City apartment up for sale. Robach has two children from her first marriage to Tim McIntosh, despite the fact that the two never had children together.
Robach and Holmes were removed off the afternoon news programme earlier this month as a result of the claims, which ABC referred to as a “distraction.”
