Daniel Radcliffe, an actor best known for portraying Harry Potter in the movie series, has announced he is expecting his first child with longtime partner Erin Darke. The 38-year-old Darke and the 33-year-old star are expecting a child later this year.

The actors allegedly met in 2013 while filming “Kill Your Darlings,” and have been together for ten years.
In the movie, Daniel Radcliffe portrayed poet Allen Ginsberg, and Darke played Gwendolyn, a love interest.
When Radcliffe played the bespectacled boy wizard in “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” in 2001, he became famous at the age of 12. In a more recent film, “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story,” which was released last year, he played the lead.
The biopic explores the life and career of comedian Weird Al Yankovic, who rose to fame by parodying well-known songs in funny ways.
“I want my kids – if and when they exist – I would love for them to be around film sets,” Radcliffe said to Newsweek last year.
The role Darke played in the 2015 television series Good Girls Revolt is what made her famous. More recently, Darke made an appearance in the Prime Video series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”
In the film adaptation of Harry Potter, Rupert Grint, who played Ronald Weasley, Â has a three-year-old daughter, Wednesday, with actor Georgia Groome.
