Babylon has survived two rescheduled national releases, the historic weather phenomenon Winter Storm Elliot, and the most recent COVID-19 surge. Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Tobey Maguire, Olivia Wilde, Jean Smart, Li Jun Li, Jovan Adepo, and newcomer Diego Calva star in the epic period drama directed by Damien Chazelle of La La Land. Despite a divisive critical reception, Babylon has received high praise for its cinematography, costume and production design, score, and cast performances, particularly Calva’s performance as Manny Torres.

Film Popularity
Only two months after its world premiere, the film’s popularity has spread to the awards circuit. Babylon has already received a Golden Globe for Best Score and three pending Academy Award nominations for Best Original Score, Best Production Design, and Best Costume Design. Anyone who missed Chazelle’s must-see spectacle in theatres now has another chance to see the extravagant and debaucherous Hollywood tale firsthand. Beginning January 31, Babylon will be available exclusively through Paramount Home Entertainment for digital purchase and Premium Video-On-Demand.
The 45-second exclusive clip from The Costumes of Babylon below gives viewers a taste of what they can expect from the supplemental content. The brief video features commentary from cast members Pitt, Robbie, Calva, and Smart, as well as costume designer Mary Zophres. “[Zophres] had all of my costumes made by hand. Some of the items are vintage. “She had a milliner make all my hats; people underestimate how important that is,” , praising Zophres’ thoughtfulness styling her character. The short video also featured close-ups of the costumes as they were discussed, emphasising texture, quality, intricate beading, and stitchwork.
Babylon follows an ambitious cast of characters based on a mash-up of popular stars from Hollywood’s early days. Â Production, design, costume design, and musical scoring are all used to seamlessly manufacture and blend the world’s characteristics.

Anyone who buys Babylon on Digital gets over 40 minutes of behind-the-scenes interviews, deleted and extended scenes, and bonus content. The never-before-seen footage and clips will serve as a bridge to help viewers understand and appreciate the film’s meaning. A Panoramic Canvas Called Babylon, one of the compiled clips, details the epic’s 15-year development. with cast and crew members discussing the original story’s inspiration and motivation. Scoring Babylon delves into composer Justin Hurwitz’s creative process, allowing viewers to appreciate the artistry involved in creating  captivating score.
Babylon will be released on 4K Ultra HDTMM Blu-rayTM, DVD, and in a Limited-Edition 4K Ultra HDÂ March 21 2023.
