Bruce Willis Diagnosed With Dementia, the actor has communication difficulties

The devastating news that Bruce Willis has frontotemporal dementia was recently revealed by his representatives (FTD). The actor suffers communication issues, among other symptoms, according to the family’s statement to the media. Although the family acknowledged that it is “tough,” they are appreciative of receiving an accurate diagnosis.

Bruce’s health has gotten worse since we initially diagnosed him with aphasia in the spring of 2022, and we now have a more accurate diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Bruce’s communication issues are, however, just one indication of his condition. According to a statement from the actor’s family, receiving a conclusive diagnosis is comforting, despite how challenging it is.

Willis’ family said, “FTD is a terrible illness that many of us have never heard of and may strike anyone. The most common kind of dementia in people under 60 is FTD, which is probably much more common than we realise because it can take years to receive a diagnosis.
