Beyonce Announces ‘Renaissance World Tour’, Her First New Tour In Nearly Seven Years.

Wednesday saw the release of Beyonce’s latest album, “Renaissance,” and  announced plans to tour Europe and North America in 2017.. As the artist with the most Grammy nominations, she will be making her first tour announcement in almost seven years.

Variety reports that there is speculation that she might even perform at the event, possibly with her husband and fellow superstar Jay-Z, who will reportedly share the stage with DJ Khaled.

On May 10, the “Renaissance World Tour” will begin in Stockholm and continue until the end of June. In July, it will resume in Toronto, and it will end in September in New Orleans.

At the end of July, Beyonce released her seventh studio album, the critically acclaimed and number-one-charting “Renaissance.” This year’s Grammy Awards, which are on Sunday, will present the song with the coveted album of the year award. Black and queer pioneers in dance music served as its inspiration.

Beyonce’s most recent studio tour took place in 2016 to promote her album “Lemonade.”
