When asked what she would bring to the Royal Challengers, Mirza responded that she would work with the players to improve their mental toughness because handling pressure is a crucial component of any sport.

“There are a lot of similarities” (between cricket and tennis). Every athlete has the same mindset and experiences similar pressure. It’s crucial to know how to handle pressure situations and embrace them. If you can’t embrace pressure, you won’t be able to excel at it. Those who can handle pressure are the greatest of champions. RCB made history by making the highest purchase in the WPL 2023 auction on February 13 when they secured Smriti Mandhana for INR 3.4 crore. The team also acquired star players Sophie Devine, Ellyse Perry, Renuka Singh, and Richa Ghosh.
