Actress Swara Bhasker made the secret marriage to activist Fahad Ahmad in court days earlier public last month. Ahmad was featured in a wonderful video montage that Bhasker used to make the announcement and which first depicted the beginning of their relationship before transitioning to her court wedding. She said in the caption, “There are times when you look very far and wide for something that was right there all along. While hunting for love, we actually found friendship first. We then met up with one another! a spb and It’s yours, bizarre as it may be!”
On her Twitter account, Bhasker also posted numerous images from her court wedding. Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad filed their marriage under the Special Marriage Act, and Swara Bhasker also stated in a blog post that the couple will be conducting a traditional wedding ceremony called a “shehnaai-wala shaadi” (shehnaai-wala shaadi).

At the former’s hometown, Swara Bhasker and Fahan Ahmad were united in marriage today during a customary ceremony. Family and close friends of the couple were there. Bhasker selected a traditional red saree from the brand Raw Mango for the daytime wedding ceremony. Priced at 94,800, Bhasker’s Banarasi silk saree features buti embroidery, golden patterns, and a coordinating border. She accessorised her saree with a blouse that matched and gold stripes.
