His 64-run performance gave India a four-wicket victory over Sri Lanka. With this performance, Rahul has successfully transitioned into the middle order batting position for India in the fifty-over format.
Rahul and Hardik Pandya made a stand of 75 runs for India before Hardik abruptly left the field as well. Rahul, meanwhile, played a responsible game and watched as India won while remaining on the field.

Rahul’s photos caught Athiya’s eye as well. Recently, the couple and their friends ushered in the new year in Dubai. The pair looked stunning together as they shared some images on Instagram while paired in black.
Longtime lovers Rahul and Athiya are reportedly getting married on August 23 in Khandala. Rahul was not chosen for the ODIs and T20s against New Zealand because of some family obligations. According to a BCCI press statement.

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty’s wedding details informed its readers earlier that the couple will celebrate their wedding festivities from 21st to 23rd January 2023. It is also said that the wedding will take place at Suniel Shetty’s home Jahaan in Khandala. The report suggests that Athiya’s close friends will be joining the event and they will perform along with her brother Ahan, and parents Mana and Suniel Shetty. Some of the reports also claim that MS Dhoni, Salman Khan, Virat Kohli, Jackie Shroff, and other noted names will grace the wedding.
