Shark Tank India: Car Dekho CEO Amit Jain Replaces Ashneer Grover

The popular entrepreneurship reality show “Shark Tank” returns to India for its second season on January 2. The show’s creators announced on social media that stand-up comedian Rahul Dua will replace Rannvijay Singha, who hosted the first season. Fans have had mixed reactions to the announcement, with some expressing disappointment and questioning the show’s authenticity. Amit Jain, CEO and Co-Founder of CarDekho Group and InsuranceDekho.com, will replace Ashneer Grover on the show’s panel of judges, in addition to a new host.
The first episode of “Shark Tank India 2”
First episode will feature Hoovu Fresh, a floral company founded in Bengaluru by female entrepreneurs Yeshoda and Rhea Karuturi. The episode’s promo shows the entrepreneurs presenting their innovative ideas for promoting their traditional floral business, such as a technique for extending the shelf life of flowers from two to fifteen days.
Anupam Mittal, Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group. Aman Gupta, Co-Founder and CMO of boAt. Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals. Vineeta Singh, Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics. Peyush Bansal, Founder and CEO of Lenskart.com and Amit Jain will serve on the “Shark Tank India 2” panel. Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television will broadcast the show.
