Piyush Chawla became the top wicket-taker of Mumbai Indians.

While former India Test captain Ajinkya Rahane scored CSK’s second fastest fifty against Mumbai Indians and Mohit Sharma became the new death over specialist of 2022 champions Gujarat.

Mumbai Indians leg-spinner Piyush Chawla gave his best performance this season. Chawla made his IPL debut from Punjab in 1. After playing for Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, Chawla’s career graph went down. Chawla was then bought by Chennai Super Kings in 2008, but he played only one match and kept him seated on the bench for the rest of the matches. In 2021, Chawla remained unsold.

Amit Mishra Right-arm leg-spinner Amit Mishra is one of the top wicket-takers in IPL history.

Mishra played his last season with Delhi Capitals in 2019 after playing for Deccan Chargers and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Since then, he has remained unsold, no team bet on him.

Then in 2023, Lucknow Super Giants included him in their team at a base price of Rs 50 lakh. As an impact player, he played 7 matches and also took 7 wickets in them. Mishra’s IPL career got a new path with LSG.

Future – Amit Mishra can be seen playing the next season along with Lucknow. However, the hopes of his arrival in the national team are now negligible.

Mohit Sharma, who once won the Purple Cap from Chennai Super Kings, disappeared from the IPL midway.

After making his international debut in 2015, he also played 8 T20s and 26 ODIs for Team India. He was even included in the 2015 ODI World Cup squad. But in the 2016 season, he was not retained by CSK.

After being out of CSK, he also stopped playing domestic cricket. Sharma last played a first-class match in 2018. But in 2019, CSK bought him again, but played in the same match throughout the season. Then he was added by Delhi Capitals, but did not give a chance in a single match.

After a long wait, in the mini auction, Gujarat Titans showed faith in him and bought him at a base price of Rs 50 lakh. Head coach Ashish Nehra and support staff worked on Mohit’s bowling.

Ishant Sharma, one of India’s top bowlers, remained mostly unsold in the IPL.

Ishant played his last season for Delhi Capitals in 4. After that, they didn’t get a chance. But this season again, Delhi showed faith in him and bought him at a base price of 2021 lakhs.

Ishant became the main bowler of Delhi Capitals in the second half of the tournament, surpassing the likes of Mustafizur Rahman and Mukesh Kumar. This season Ishant took 8 wickets in 10 matches.

Future – Ishant Sharma has always appeared more in the red ball format for India. Ishant may return to the squad on the West Indies tour after the World Test Championship. But his return to the limited-overs format looks difficult.
