Mumtaz and Shabana Azmi’s are in the upcoming TV series “Heeramandi” by Sanjay Leela Bhansali

According to reports, Mumtaz and Shabana Azmi’s parts in the upcoming TV series “Heeramandi” by Sanjay Leela Bhansali have not yet been filled.
For the part, Mumtaz had already met Bhansali. She met Bhansali for the first time ever, and they sat down to talk about the web series. To be clear, she had not objected to any song and dance routine despite media claims to the contrary.

Manisha Koirala and Mumtaz were invited to lunch by Bhansali. The three enjoyed themselves immensely as they chatted happily. Halfway through, Bhansali stated that Mumtaz should have a prominent role in “Heeramandi.” Bhansali admires her greatly and has been considering collaborating with her for a while.

Mumtaz remarked,

“In all honesty, Bhansali had warned me that he wouldn’t cast anyone else in the role if I declined. It’s wonderful that a man of his stature promised me a key position and then honoured his promise.”

She discussed her time in Bollywood as well as the careers of many of her male coworkers, including Dev Anand, Shatrughan Sinha, Shammi Kapoor, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Sunil Dutt, Rajesh Khanna, and Feroz Khan. – We have included a copy of the interview below in case you missed it.
