1. Pant’s jersey on top in Delhi’s pavilion

On 1 April, Delhi Capitals played their first match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. During this, in honor of former captain Rishabh Pant, the franchise hung his jersey at the top of his pavilion.

Twice this season, the car kept in the stadium was dented by shots from the batsmen. Rituraj Gaikwad hit the first six in the match against Lucknow Super Giants at Chepauk. Gaikwad hit a six in the last over of the powerplay and the ball went straight to the car parked in the stadium. The car player of the tournament was awarded to Shubman Gill.

The second six was imposed by Nehal Wadhera, the player of Mumbai Indians. On May 9, in the 11th over of the match against Bengaluru, Nehal Wadhera hit a slog sweep off Vanindu Hasaranga and hit a brilliant six towards deep mid-wicket. The ball hit the car parked outside the boundary. This caused a dent on the handle of the car.
