In the pivotal incident, Dutton Sr., who was the father of little Jack Dutton (Darren Mann) and the husband of his now-widow Emma (Marley Shelton), was shot multiple times by Banner, who also shot Jacob. Dutton Sr. died instantly (Harrison Ford). Jacob Dutton from Ford was also observed suffering serious injuries.

Does Jacob Dutton from Episode 3 still exist?

Following the moment in which Ford’s Jacob Dutton was also seen suffering severe injuries, Cara, played by Helen Mirren, was seen telling her husband that she would do everything in her power to help him through this. As the doctor and nurses quickly took over, Cara joked, “I’ll not resign!” indicating that Ford’s character will continue to appear on the show.
