Beyonce has touched the heights of nominations by bagging nine of them – the highest number, tied with her husband Jay-Z. She has reached the zenith of grammy nominations by getting the most nominations for a music performance.

What makes Grammy awards 2023 more exciting is Beyonce’s competition with Adele in the three primary categories – record, album, and song of the year. Adele, who won five Grammys in 2017, has received only seven nominations in comparison to the top pop lady.
However, while accepting the awards in 2017, Adele was seen honouring Beyonce with her supportive words for her work. She called the song “lemonade” as “monumental”, as she found this one showing Beyonce’s other side which she does not show often.
Top list of celebrities who got a grammy nomination
Besides Beyonce and Adele, Kendrick Lamar, standing right behind Beyonce in the nomination rankings, received eight nominations, while Harry Styles got six.
BTS, the famous South Korean pop band, got nominated for three categories. The seven-member band made a hat trick in the Grammys with their song “universal”, which is a mix with Coldplay. The song is competing in the best pop duo/group performance category.
Further, the Korean boys received a nomination for the best music video category for their song “yet to come”. Their third nomination stands for the “music of the spheres” album, in which they are featured with Coldplay.
Who won’t make it to the Grammy award 2023
Among various other names stand Weeknd and Drake, who were not interested to submit their solos for the event. Silk Sonic, who won last year, did not appear in the competition this time either.
