Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, a television actress who presently competes in the contentious reality competition Bigg Boss 16, has been cast in Ekta Kapoor planned follow-up to the 2010 film Love Sex Aur Dhokha.

Ekta and Dibakar Banerjee entered the Bigg Boss house to promote their forthcoming film LSD 2. They said that Bigg Boss-like reality show LSD 2 served as the inspiration for the film.
The applicants had to reproduce a section of Ekta Kapoor’s programme as a sort of audition for the movie LSD 2. As a result, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Shiv replicated a scene from Naagin 1 when Shiv played Nevla and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia portrayed Naagin (Mouni Roy). Ekta Kapoor and Dibakar Banerjee appreciated Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia’s performance and have offered her a part in LSD 2.
