The upcoming web series Dahaad. Which will shortly make its Amazon Prime Video debut. It made history by becoming the first Indian web series to participate in the Berlin Film Festival. The production, which was co-directed by Reema Katgi and Ruchika Oberoi, will be shown in February 2023 at the festival. The film’s lead actors include Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah.

Dahaad is a crime drama that reportedly takes place in a tranquil rural hamlet in Rajasthan. It follows local police sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati (Sonakshi) and her colleagues as they look into a string of apparent suicides that might be the work of a serial murderer.

Only two of the eight episodes of the criminal drama will be screened during the festival. One of seven programmes vying for the brand-new Berlinale Series Award is the Hindi series. The jury for the award is made up of the actor André Holland, the producer Danna Stern, and the playwright Mette Heeno. The segment winner will be announced on February 22, 2023.
