Courtallam Waterfall

It is one of the best places to visit in Tenkasi. Kutralam Waterfall is also called the Spa of South India. There are a total of nine waterfalls in this place, one of which is the Old Waterfall , also known as Pazhaya Courtalam. There is also a man-made pool between the upper and lower waterfalls, where you can enjoy swimming. It is a place where people of all ages like to come and have fun.

Kashi Vishwanathar Temple

Built by Parakrama Pandian in Dravidian style, the Kashi Vishwanathar temple is visited by most people. Not only locals, but tourists also like to come here. It is also known as The Ulagman Temple, which is dedicated to Kashi Vishwanathur. Explain that these are the swayambhu forms of Lord Shiva, whose wife is Ulgamman. According to the beliefs, the worship in this temple is equal to the main temple of Kashi. Therefore, the religious importance of this place increases even more.

Thirumalai Kovil 

Thirumalai Kovil is a Murugan temple located in Panpoli. It is 14 km from Tenkasi. Situated on a small hill adjacent to the Western Ghats, the temple (famous temples abroad) is on the border of Kerala. There is an idol of the main deity Murugan in this temple. Thirumalai Murugan or Thirumalai Kumaraswamy are two names of the local deity. Lord Muruga had made Sage Agastyar visit this place. There are two entrances to this temple. There is a small idol of Ganesha at the entrance of the main sanctum sanctorum. The present structure of the temple mainly dates back to the fifteenth century. Some inscriptions from the 18th century can be seen throughout the temple.

Sivasailam Temple

The Sivasailam temple is dedicated to Lord Shivasailanatar and Goddess Parvati. This huge temple has many mandapams and carved pillars. The main gopuram has five floors. The statue of Vishal Nandi is made just by looking at it. It is believed that Nandi was so skillfully crafted that he came alive and started flying. The other deities of this temple are Lord Shiva, Vinayaka, Murugan, Dakshina Murthy and Natarajar. Next to the primary temple is a second temple dedicated to Goddess Paramkalyani.
