Liger setback in 2022

His pan-Indian picture Liger flopped at the box office, despite the fact that he was one of the promising performers who made his Bollywood debut last year. The movie was the largest failure of 2022, and it also sustained significant losses.
The movie Liger, in which Vijay Deverakonda played an MMA fighter, attracted controversy when distributors objected to losing money since the CBI was looking into possible money laundering. The actor was interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate about the cost of his picture, Liger, for 12 hours. He spoke to the media after the interrogation and said that he only came because the officials called because it was his job to do so. The Liger team was questioned by ED representatives on a possible violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act.
