Indian company Blue Star and Chinese carmaker MG Motors have announced a partnership aimed at promoting electric car penetration in India. According to the information given officially, under this partnership, Blue Star has ordered 500 units of MG ZS EV.
The biggest feature of the MG ZS EV is its powerful lithium-ion battery, which has a capacity of 50.3kWh.
It is not only reliable but also takes the car up to 461 kilometers in one charge. It can take up to 9 hours to charge. Simply put, the MG ZS EV has the ability to deliver a range of 461km. The permanent magnet synchronous motor motor gives power of 176 PS. Along with 280 Nm of torque, which is a big deal in an electric car.
The MG ZS EV’s look and design is attractive as well as smart and has received a very good rating from the customers so far. Its popularity can be gauged from the fact that so far the company has sold 10 thousand units of ZS EV. Tata Motors needs to be afraid of these figures.

The partnership between MG and Blue Star can bring a big change in the electric car sector. Although many companies have worked to boost their business by partnering before. Anmol Jaggi, CEO and Co-Founder, Blue Star, said, “Our partnership with MG Motor India is at a critical juncture as we rapidly expand our taxi system in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru. The addition of 500 units of MG ZS EVs to the range is going to be a big change”. It will be shared by the company as soon as any further information about this partnership is revealed.
