The city’s Hind Rakshak Sangathan has filed a case against actress Taapsee Pannu for disparaging Hindu deities and promoting obscenity, according to police on Monday.
Eklavya Singh Gaur, the convenor of the Hind Rakshak Sangathan and the son of BJP Lawmaker Malini Gaur, has filed this case. In his case, Gaur claimed that on March 14, 2023, the actress posted a video on her Instagram.

She is seen in this video allegedly wearing an inappropriate dress at a fashion show.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee Pannu announced the sequel to her film Haseen Dilruba in January this year. Back then. A media organisation was informe about the complaint by a police officer from Chhatripura police station. According to the complainant, wearing a Lakshmi locket with a skimpy dress has offended their sense of religious propriety and Sanatana Dharma. The complaint has been received, and an investigation is being conducted as a result.”
Eklavya filed a complaint against stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui in Indore in 2021. Alleging that he had offended Hindus’ religious sentiments. He claimed in his complaint that the comedian made fun of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Hindu Gods.
