One of Bollywood’s most popular actors, Suniel Shetty, is now preparing for the premiere of his next series, Hunter. Fans are quite anxious to see the actor make a comeback in his action persona and perform some great stunts. He will be portrayed in the series as an ACP officer who turns out to be a killer who has fled the scene. Suniel recently had a heart-to-heart chat with Pinkvilla and discussed his series during that time. He also revealed the development of action heroes, his reunion with Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar in Hera Pheri 3, and other details.
How come Suniel Shetty doesn’t perform “deadly stunts like Tom Cruise”?
Suniel was also spotted responding to several fan queries throughout the interview. One of his followers questioned him about why he wasn’t pursuing the action genre as much as he did in the 1990s. a supporter enquired, “Tom Cruise and other actors who are over 60 still perform dangerous stunts. Thus, why have you slowed down in the action space now like you did in the 1990s? Is it as a result of the directors’ lack of a strong action plan for today? Suniel responded in an odd way: Let’s wait and hear what Bhai Hunter has to say. Tom Cruise is trying to laugh (laughs).”
True love is a Pathaan
Suniel further mentioned how the crowd praised Pathaan by Shah Rukh Khan and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar by Ranbir Kapoor. He was questioned about how the audience’s affection had changed over time and whether social media had made it easier to access. Suniel observed, “True love is when the audience goes to the theatre. True love is a Pathaan. Currently, Ranbir’s film (Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar) is experiencing real love from fans who are willing to pay to see it.
They are presumably not readily available, which is another factor. Neither Ranbir nor Shah Rukh frequently appear in public. Thus, the appeal is still very much there. The rest consists primarily of self-promotional activities and media purchases, which only provide information for today or tomorrow.
Esha Deol is a part of Suniel Shetty’s Hunter, which will be published on March 22, 2023.
