Shilpa Shetty makes huge investment in shark tank pitch, know what this company makes and sells

This startup failed to get funding from Shark Tank India.

New Delhi. Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty has invested in a startup in which the judges of Shark Tank India did not think it was right to invest a single rupee. Direct-to-consumer (D2C) start-up 100% Nutrition Private Limited sells its products under the wicked gud brand name. The company manufactures and sells a range of products including maida, oil and MSG-free pasta and noodles. They are made from flour, lentils, rice, chickpeas, oats and jowar and are made using innovative steaming and convection air drying (SCAD) technology instead of deep fry.

WickedGood has also received funding from Shark Tank Judge and Boat co-founder Aman Gupta, Titan Capital, Mumbai Angels, NB Ventures, Dholakia Ventures, Venture Catalyst Marquee Founder Angels. The company was founded in 2021 by Bhuman Dani, Monish Debnath and Soumya Biswas. The brand has achieved 300 per cent growth in the last one year. In Shark Tank India Season 2 too, Wickedgood presented the pitch, but the Shark Tank judges did not see merit in their business and none of the judges invested money.

Shilpa Shetty has high expectations from startups.

Bhuman Dani says that wicked gud products can be purchase online. Apart from the company’s website, they are available on Amazon Blinkite, BigBasket, Swiggy, Instamart, Zapatto and Flipkart.
