‘Shark Tank India 2 ‘: Meet the women entrepreneurs who impressed judges with their pitches

Since it first aired on television, Shark Tank India 2 has generated a lot of media attention. There is no denying the massive fan bases that all of the sharks now enjoy, and these fans are curious to learn more about the private lives, pastimes, and interests of their preferred sharks. Six outstanding and well-known judges make up the jury this time: Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Peyush Bansal, Amit Jain, and Namita Thapar.  Here are some of the successful women in business from the programme.

Last year, Darbhanga-based sisters-in-law Kalpana and Uma Jha’s JhaJi Store, which sells Mithilanchal-style pickles and chutneys, dazzled the Sharks. They attracted everyone’s attention even though they were unable to secure the deal. Because of this, this year’s sharks Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar travelled great distances to meet them and give them a check for Rs 85 lakh.

Preety Maggo, Magic of Memories

Preety Maggo appeared in one of the episodes with her company Magic of Memories, which creates keepsake jewellery out of things like blood, breast milk, and pieces of the umbilical cord. She was unable to close a deal because the sharks felt her brand was too new for the market, but the entrepreneur later claimed that she had received numerous offers from investors.

Rhea and Yashoda Karuturi, Hoovu Fresh

Rhea and Yashoda were the first female entrepreneurs on Shark Tank India 2 with their company Hoovu Fresh, which sells fresh flowers online through subscription-based services. They were successful in securing a deal with Sharks Aman Gupta and Peyush Bansal for Rs 1 crore and 2% equity.

Aakriti and Poonam Rawal – House of Chikankari

The first female business owners on Shark Tank India 2 were Rhea and Yashoda, whose firm Hoovu Fresh sells fresh flowers online via subscription-based services. With Sharks Aman Gupta and Peyush Bansal, they were able to negotiate a deal worth Rs 1 crore and 2% equity.

Shark Tank India 2 is hosted by comedian Rahul Dua and features six shark-like judges: Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, and Amit Jain. The programme is available to viewers on Sony TV and SonyLIV every day from Monday through Friday at 9 p.m.
