Sattu Ka Paratha Recipe: Sattu is widely used in Bihar during the summer season. Sattu gives energy to the body as well as makes the stomach feel full for a long time. Sattu Ka Paratha is a traditional food dish of Bihar. It is quite easy to make and they are ready quickly. Their taste is also very different and tasty. So far, if you have not tried this dish at home, then you can easily make it at home with our recipe.
- Wheat flour – 3 cups Sattu – 2 cups
- onion finely chopped – 2 garlic cloves – 5
- ginger pumpkin – 1 teaspoon
- oregano – 1/2 teaspoon
- green chili chopped – 3
- lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
- amchur – 1 teaspoon
- green coriander chopped – 1 tablespoon
- ghee – 2
- salt – according to taste
To make sattu paratha,
first take wheat flour and filter it in a vessel. After this, add ghee and salt according to taste in the flour and add a little water and knead it. Make sure the dough is not too soft. After this, keep the dough aside for some time. Now add sattu in a mixing bowl and add garlic paste, ginger paste, finely chopped onions, lemon juice, amchur, green coriander, chopped green chillies, oregano and salt according to taste and mix well. After this, add 2 teaspoons of water to this mixture and mix it.
For this, take the kneaded dough and knead it once again. After this, make flour loaves. Now take a loave and roll it into the shape of a whole. After this, place a stuffing of sattu in the middle of the loaves and turn it around and close it. After this, first round the loaves, then press it by placing it between the palms and after that take the paratha bell.
Now take a nonstick pan / pan and keep it on medium flame to heat. Put a little oil on an empty pan and spread it around. Now put the baked paratha on it and bake for a few seconds. After this, turn the paratha over and bake it by applying oil on the other side as well. Bake the paratha until it turns golden on both sides. After this, remove the paratha in a plate. Similarly, prepare sattu parathas with all the loaves and stuffing. Serve them with yogurt or tomato sauce.
