Satish Kaushik Funeral: Bollywood lost a gem from its collection of stars this Thursday in Delhi with the passing of the sector’s beloved Calendar (from the iconic Mr India). The late actor had a sudden heart attack. Which was followed by being brought to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His remains were returned to Mumbai, and later that day, he was cremated at Versova Crematorium.

The who’s who of Bollywood and the business descended upon the tragic occasion to pay their respects to their deceased colleague and console the mourning family. Anupam Kher, Satish Shah, Rakesh Bedi, Annu Kapoor, Johnny Lever, Boney Kapoor, Anu Malik, Sham Kaushal, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Sanjay Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, Shehnaz Gill, and numerous other stars were there for Satish Kaushik’s final rites.
One of Kaushik’s closest friends, Anupam Kher, was spotted being hugged by Abhishek Bachchan. Kher stood by Kaushik’s family like a rock throughout the last rites since their relationship was so close-knit. Also, he was spotted sobbing uncontrollably over the death of his close buddy and coworker.
Shashi, Kaushik’s wife, and their daughter Vanshika are left behind.
After her father’s funeral, at which his nephew officiated over the last rites, 10-year-old Vanshika posted on Instagram. The small girl used a tender image of herself and Dad sharing a close hug to show her sorrow over the death of her beloved father. Several Bollywood stars, like Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Rakesh Roshan, and many more, paid tribute to their cherished friend.

Throughout his four-decade career, Kaushik excelled as an actor, director, writer, and producer of a variety of films and productions. Kaushik was reared in Delhi’s Karol Bagh after being born in Haryana. Thereafter, he relocated to Mumbai to pursue a career in the film industry. Which brought him success and honours unlike anything other.
