The iconic batsman Sachin Tendulkar wrote a touching letter on the first anniversary of the legendary Shane Warne’s passing, remembering his “wonderful friend” with whom he had many unforgettable on-field encounters.

Warne, who was regarded as the best spinner of all time. Passed away on this day a year ago from a heart attack that occurred while he was on vacation in Thailand. Tendulkar tweeted a photo of himself and Warne conversing on social media in addition to memories of their interactions.
“We have engaged in some iconic clashes and experienced some unforgettable experiences off the field. I miss you as a terrific friend in addition to a fantastic cricket player. With your charisma and sense of humour, Warnie, I have no doubt that you are making heaven even more endearing than it always was. On Saturday, Tendulkar posted on Twitter.
In 29 international matches, the two competed against one another, with Warne defeating Tendulkar four times. In his brilliant international career, Warne collected over 1000 wickets, 709 of which came in Test cricket, while Tendulkar amassed 34357 runs, including 100 hundreds, in all three forms.
