The eagerly anticipated Ponniyin Selvan sequel has received some news. The trailer for the much anticipated movie sequel has finally been reveal, much to the delight of the fans. A box office hit the year before, the movie is expect to captivate audiences once more due to its excellent cast and compelling plot.
Ponniyin Selvan 2, which is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel of the same name, picks up where the first film left off . With viewers witnessing Ponniyin Selvan staring death in the face as Oomai Rani, played by Aishwarya Rai, dove into the water to save him.
Following Raavan in 2010, Ponniyin Selvan is Aishwarya and Vikram’s second movie together. Along with Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Ashwin Kakumanu, Mohan Raman, Sarathkumar, and Parthiban playing supporting characters. The movie also stars Trisha, Karthi, and Jayam Ravi in the lead roles. Editor Sreekar Prasad, cinematographer Ravi Varman, and composer AR Rahman make up the technical team.
