PM Modi to inaugurate Samruddhi Mahamarg in Maharashtra

On Sunday, Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Mahamarg (Super Communication Expressway). Phase-I was officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also gave a tour of the new road.

Phase I of the 701 km Super Expressway project. Which connects Mumbai, the state capital, with Nagpur through 10 districts, is 520 km long.
It is one of the nation’s longest greenfield six-lane expressways and is being built at a cost of over Rs. 55,000 crore. It will reduce the current travel time between the two cities from 16 hours to just 8 hours.
