Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the Taliban will not respect human rights

Imran Khan, a former Pakistani prime minister, reportedly stated that the Taliban will not respect human rights. Including the right of women to an education, until those rights are acknowledged by the world community. Imran Khan stated in an interview with Britain’s Channel 4 that the Taliban should be integrated into the world community. Before human rights and issues pertaining to the education of girls are tackled.

What impact will your decision to isolate the Taliban have on them? Talk about human rights once you’ve mainstreamed them and given them a state. Since their funds are currently restricted, why would they listen to anyone if you were to push them into isolation?

Imran Khan said, “Get them (the Taliban) engaged.”

Imran Khan, head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stated, “My advise is to get them involved, give them a stake in the international society so that when you tell them to have ladies educated, they would listen to you; at the moment, they are not.”

The human rights problem in Afghanistan is being exacerbated by Imran Khan’s comments. Taliban reopening secondary schools for females in Afghanistan has been demanded by Afghan women. Imran Khan has pleaded with the international community to acknowledge the Taliban before.

There is “no other alternative to Taliban in Afghanistan,” therefore the “only option the world has right now is to work with the Taliban for things to move ahead,” according to Imran Khan, who was Pakistan’s prime minister at the time in 2022.

People of the US should understand

He continued by saying that Americans should realise that while it is one thing to dislike the Taliban, it is quite another to consider the plight of the Afghan people, who are dealing with “severe problems.”
