Actress Mrunal Thakur has spoken about her recent Instagram image of her crying, which she shared while promoting her next movie Gumraah with Aditya Roy Kapur. Her admirers and friends became concerned as soon as she shared the picture. Mrunal mentioned the photo and how she felt “so comfortable” after posting it in a recent interview.
Mrunal Thakur discusses her heartbreaking photo.
After distributing the image to her followers, Mrunal wrote: “Last day was difficult. Yet, I’m happier, wiser, and stronger today! Everyone has parts of their story that they don’t read aloud, but I’ve decided to do so with mine because perhaps someone else needs to learn the lesson I did. taking each day as it comes! Being innocent and helpless is OK.” The actress recently told PTI that there is a “thin line” between needing treatment and feeling down.
Mrunal declared: “Sometimes you want to hear positive feedback, and you need that push from someone. After publishing that piece, I felt incredibly at ease. The majority of individuals no longer feel exposed. There are days when we feel down, depressed, or unconfident, but it does not necessarily equate to depression. Between feeling depressed and asking for help, there is a fine line. Simply put, don’t be afraid to own your vulnerability.”
The photo, she continued, “is just to normalise feeling vulnerable.”
The actress from Jersey stated, “Everything appears pleasant, pretty, and aspirational in today’s world, especially with the help of social media, but believe me, a lot of hard work goes into making that happen. The actor or personality has a lot of issues to deal with. That post therefore served only to normalise feeling vulnerable. In a world where there are so many voices all around me, I feel like I have finally heard my own voice today. I opt to pay attention to my inner voice. I am thus really delighted.”
