The third member of the band Migos was found in a grave state in Houston. Alongside Quavo and Offset, Takeoff, whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot dead at the young age of 28 years.
The reporters say that Takeoff and Quavo were playing dice around 2:30 am in the bowling alley in Houston. Soon, someone shot Takeoff, and he was declared on-the-spot dead. Two other people were also harmed; however, Quavo didn’t receive any injuries.
Twitter took off with the rapper’s name
Twitter was filled with Takeoff’s name right after the news broke down. Various celebrities posted on their feed about the unfortunate killing that happened right under everyone’s nose.
A plethora of messages praising Takeoff for his cool and down-to-earth personality hit social media. Also, the boxer Chris highlighted the need for a changed system that takes notice of such merciless killings. Takeoff’s journey so far
The Migos rapper, Takeoff, was born in Georgia in the year 1994. The other two groupies – Quavo and Offset, were his cousin and uncle respectively. The trio released their debut under another band name in the year 2008. However, it was in 2011, when the trio released an album called Juug Season under the name ‘Migos’, that paved the way for their further journey.
In 2013, the first hit song called Versace got so popular that the Toronto rapper, Drake, shook hands with Migos. This was a small beginning for a long-term association among the rappers. However, the name Migos is mostly-known for their 2016 Bad and Boujee collaboration, which saw the top in the US for days to come.
In an interview with Fader in 2017, Takeoff opened up about his dream of creating music since childhood. He confessed how he used to wait for Quavo to make him listen to the songs composed by him. Takeoff, took pleasure in the act of creating music, as it was something he really loved to do.
Takeoff also released a solo album called ‘The last rocket’ in 2018, which ranked number four in the USA.
