Despite being frequently less than frightening and having some plot points that don’t hold up under scrutiny.

In a statement

Shyamalan had said, “Where I write and direct is my home. My home and family will always be Disney and Universal, where I’ve made the majority of my movies. Warner Bros. has a long and illustrious history in film. The company has rediscovered its love and appreciation for filmmakers as well as the significance of the theatrical experience as a result of its recent experiences. When movies do well in theatres, everyone benefits. I think David Zaslav, Michael De Luca, and Pam Abdy have made a commitment to supporting independent filmmakers and ensuring that movie theatres are packed for years to come.
