This past weekend, the Lakme Fashion Week 2023 delighted us. The best in fashion and haute couture moments were presented to us during the Indian Fashion Week this year. The perennial tadka of Bollywood showstoppers was also available to further drive you bonkers in the most fashion-friendly manner.
The runways were ablaze with Bollywood glam, song, dance, and show-sha.
What else? We had the nicest time swooning and salivating over all of our favourite B-town celebrities dressed to impress.
Shilpa Shetty epitomised a certain fashion moment while sporting a cat-woman-inspired all-over pattern purple suit. The actor carried the three-piece outfit stylishly, complete with a cape, a crop top, and ready-to-wear slacks.
Sushmita Sen donned a mehenga lehenga-inspired gown with embellishments from the brand Anushree Reddy. The actor, who had recently recovered from a heart attack, carried herself with the highest grace and demonstrated why she continues to be Miss Universe throughout time.
Sanya Malhotra seemed like she was having a blast while wearing her bright orange costume. She flawlessly pulled off the classic beach girl image, complete with Flirtatious swimwear. She infused the runway with contagious energy.
Sonakshi Sinha walked for the label ITRH by Mohit Rai and Ridhi Bansal and essentially danced her way to the fashion runway. Together with Anshula Kapoor, Anaita Shroff Adajania, and Antara Motiwala Marwah, she served as the models for the designers.
Shanaya Kapoor’s sequin-covered summery yellow Arpita Mehta saree shocked the fashion week crowd.
