Chardham Yatra 2023: A case has been registered against unknown persons on the complaint of BKTC regarding the QR code installed near Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand. At the same time. A similar case has now come to light in Kedarnath Dham, where similar QR codes have also been installed. Now the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has also filed a case. Based on the committee’s complaint, a case has been registered against unidentified persons. The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
The issue of online offerings through Paytm at Badrinath Dham is constantly in controversy in Uttarakhand. The temple committee has said that they have no information about who has installed these QR codes and when. Local people had objected to the donation by Paytm. The temple committee has taken immediate cognizance of this and removed these boards.
Police are investigating the case.
Giving further details, ADG Law and Order V Murugesan said that there was an unauthorised QR code installed in Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham. After which a complaint has been given by BKTC. The police have launched an investigation into the matter. The ADG said that the matter is being investigated, soon the whole matter will come out.
On the other hand, all the pictures are viral on social media, people say that the name of Badrinath and Kedarnath Temple Committee is coming in the QR code that has been installed. So how is it possible that the committee is not aware of it. However, what is the whole matter will be clear only after the police investigation.
