Karnataka CM Yediyurappa’s dream will come true when PM Modi opens the Shivamogga Airport.

On Monday, Karnataka election-bound Shivamogga airport will be opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Also, he will conduct a 10-kilometer road performance in Belagavi.

B.S. Yediyurappa retirement 

Since former chief minister B.S. Yediyurappa is from the Shivamogga district. Recently declared his retirement from electoral politics, everyone in Karnataka is watching the event. Yediyurappa is anticipating that his son B.Y. Vijayendra, who he has represented throughout his career, will be given tickets from the Shikaripura constituency.

Yediyurappa’s parting address had been praised by PM Modi, who said it had inspired him as well. Moreover, Yediyurappa stated that the Lingayat community should continue to support the BJP and not harbour any ill will towards him due to his retirement. He’s likely to address Yediyurappa’s reservations over including his son Vijayendra in the party in his statement.

After opening the airport, the Prime Minister, who is scheduled to arrive in Shivamogga at 11.35 a.m., will give a speech to the general public.

There are seating arrangements for 100,000 people.

More than 1,500 buses are being used to bring in people from the Chikkamagaluru, Davanagere, and Chitradurga districts. The second-longest runway in the state is at the airport in Shivamogga.

After arriving in Belagavi by 2:00 pm, PM Modi will begin a 10.7-kilometer roadshow from the Rani Chennamma circle. Leaders from various communities are permitted to greet him as he travels. At Dharmaveer Sambhaji, Ashoka, and Tilak circles, plans have been devised to cover him in flower petals. To maintain security, more than 4,500 police officers have been assigned. He will lay the cornerstone for several projects worth Rs. 2,250 crore as well as dedicate them.
