The Mumbai mansion of filmmaker Karan Johar is just as opulent as the man himself. It was created by his close friend and interior designer Gauri Khan and has many lovely nooks, opulent appearances, and a stunning mood.
In a brand-new article for Architectural Digest, Karan welcomed Gauri into his home as he unlocked the doors in Mumbai.
Fans were in awe of the interiors as the magazine posted numerous photographs from Karan’s home to their social media accounts. Two beige couches and a marble side table with a gold metal base are shown in a shot of the living and eating area. In front of them are two stacking coffee tables. A second couch covered in blue plaid fabric and a few wooden chairs are also present. The eight-person marble dining table is located behind one of the couches. Above it hangs a huge black-and-white piece of art.
A white-black couch and a green velvet couch are furnished in another sitting room. Between them is an exquisite golden centre table. Instead of being open, the nearby fireplace is decked with a showcase and big candles.
The most fashionable part of the room is, however, his bathroom
There is a corridor with doors on either side and attractive Chevron-patterned oak flooring. The most fashionable part of the room is, however, his bathroom. It has a sombre and substantial appearance thanks to the black countertop, cupboards, and twin basins. Retro-styled brown and white tiles cover the floors. The enormous light above the double vanity also draws attention.
A view of the spacious bedroom with its beige, white, and brown furnishings is also shown. Finally, a last, brightly lit and airy sitting space with white and blue furniture and plants is shown.

Gauri told AD about Karan’s house’s design: “This home is unique; it’s one of a kind. It is intended to capture Karan’s personality, which is stylish, entertaining, and a little outrageous. That can’t be duplicated; it’s a unique space.
The children Roohi and Yash, as well as Karan’s mother Hiroo Johar, all reside in this house.
