Junior NTR, also known as Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, is ecstatic right now. His sophisticated Oscars appearance astounded everyone. The actor already has more than ten films in development, and his song “Naatu Naatu” from the film “RRR” won the Oscar for Best Song. His 2024 will also be amazing, and his 2023 has already begun to go well. However, the actor’s circumstances were not favourable in 2010 as a result of a nasty controversy he had stirred up. He was about to wed Lakshmi Pranathi, a 17-year-old minor. Continue reading to find out everything.
News of Junior NTR’s impending marriage to Lakshmi Pranathi broke in 2010. She is a relative of N. Chandrababu Naidu, president of the Telugu Desam Party, and the daughter of Narne Srinivasa Rao, owner of the Telugu news channel Studio N. (TDP). However, around February 2010, a lawyer named Shanti Prasad contacted the Machilipatnam Legal Services Authority after hearing about the reports. He emphasised that Pranathi was a minor, making marriage against the law.
I am not in favour of calling the marriage off, he declared. I simply want Naidu, who served as the CM for nine years, and Junior NTR’s father, Nandamuri Harikrishna, to set an example by abiding by the law. Nandamuri Harikrishna is currently an MP. Making and enforcing laws serve no purpose if they don’t.
It turned out that a slight misunderstanding was what caused the controversy. According to family members close to Pranathi, she was 17 years old and would turn 18 in March 2010. Additionally, they stated that Pranathi’s proposed marriage to Junior NTR wouldn’t take place until she reached the legal marriage age of 18, which is 18 in India.
That is precisely what took place. On May 5, 2011, the “RRR” actor married Pranathi. They have two adorable sons, Nandamuri Abhay Ram and Bharghav Ram, and have been happily married for almost twelve years.
