The upcoming Hindi web series Jubilee, which will be directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and co-created by Sen and Motwane, is scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime Video on April 7, 2023. While part one will be available to stream, part two will begin on April 14 with an additional five episodes.

Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta, Nandish Sandhu, Ram Kapoor, as well as Shweta Basu Prasad, Arun Govil, Sukhmanee Lamba, Aarya Bhatta, Narottam Bain, Alok Arora, and Suhani Popli all play significant roles in the series.

It is set against the backdrop of the Golden Era of Bollywood.

The upcoming series will mark the debut of the 60-year-old Bengali superstar, who has spent more than 40 years working in the film industry. He is playing the part of ambitious opportunist Srikant Roy, a businessman and filmmaker who will do anything to advance his career. “When Vikram first presented me with the story and Srikant Roy’s character, I felt an immediate connection. He is a person who has devoted his entire life to the movie industry. Since I’ve been in the business for four decades, I could relate to that right away! Jubilee commemorates an era of Indian cinema that was incredibly successful, and as an actor, I feel somewhat accountable for it.
Aditi Rao Hydari
In the upcoming web series, the actor, who most recently made her OTT debut with Zee5’s Taj: Divided By Blood, portrays Sumitra Kumari, a movie star’s wife with exceptional business skills. Sumitra is looking for love because that is what she truly wants. Sumitra Kumari has been a remarkably difficult and complex character to play, according to Rao. She is a star, she is strong, and she rules the world—all that stands between her and what she really wants, which ultimately turns out to be her north star.
Aparshakti Khurana
Aparshakti Khurana portrays Binod Das, a dependable studio assistant who must navigate a number of obstacles on his path to fame. In addition, Jubilee is his second web series after Kanpur Wale Khurranas on Disney+ Hotstar. Jubilee was a no-brainer for me as an actor. I knew I had to do this as soon as I heard the story, especially Binod’s journey. I’ve played a lot of characters over the years, but this one is among the hardest and most rewarding.
