India is always a great opponent. It was entertaining to watch Ash Gardener and Grace Harris put on a terrific clinic today. We take great satisfaction in our brave cricket. India came at us quickly and heavily. enjoyed the surroundings; here, we always receive excellent care.

“I’m just having fun playing cricket and benefiting on the field. It greatly relieves my stress to bat with someone like Grace. She is the more powerful speaker and she backs up what she says. I believe it varies on the day; some days I’m a better batter than others. On days like today, you inevitably do both. Range hitting is great occasionally, but I try to avoid doing it too frequently because I occasionally end up becoming out of shape.

For the first 10 to 12 overs, we played pretty well. However, due of their strength, we haven’t been able to bowl as well as we would have liked since then. We were aware of the difficulties we would face with Australia visiting; there would be plenty to learn and improve upon. We were easy losing at first, but now, no matter who goes out, we are confident in our ability to win. That sense of self-worth has been crucial. We now have a month off to relax and reorganise. The following obstacle will be to concentrate on power hitting.

India loses series 4-1 (IND vs AUS)
India would have hoped for a better series outcome following its thrilling Super Over victory to tie the series at 1-1. Australia, on the other hand, upped its game considerably, and eventually, India was unable to match Australia’s batting potency. India has a number of areas to improve as the T20 World Cup approaches swiftly, particularly with its bowling attack and middle-order hitters.
