Hrithik Roshan, a famous actor in Bollywood, has been active in the business for more than 20 years. The actor made a hugely successful debut with his father, director Rakesh Roshan’s romance thriller Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai. The actor has since gone on to star in other well-produced and well-received films.
However, a personal tragedy tainted Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai’s success. Two attackers fired shots at his father Rakesh Roshan, who sustained significant injuries after the shooting and the attackers’ escape. Rakesh Roshan’s life could have been lost if the incident had been more serious, according to Hrithik Roshan.
“I was working out at the gym when he called and asked where I was,” he said. He sounded frightened. He warned me not to move before announcing, “I got shot; I have no idea how it happened.” I was shot at by two men, and I’m now heading to the police. I believed he needed to be taken to the hospital.
He didn’t want to let those individuals go away, though, because he was so furious. He thus drove to the police station, where the officers transported him to the hospital where he passed out. The bullet became lodged there after grazing the wall of his heart and stopping exactly adjacent to his sternum.
It was the film industry.
“At the time I was shooting, so I wanted to stop acting. I was dancing during a dance rehearsal for the song “Bhumro” from Mission Kashmir when I noticed my reflection in the mirror and abruptly stopped. I asked myself, “Why am I doing this? My father is in the ICU,” you know. I am twirling? I simply felt incredibly unclean inside.
Someone was outraged. That murder attempt was somehow connected to the popularity of the movie KNPH. It was simple to give up, but more difficult to continue and keep the show going, Hrithik concluded somberly.
