Soybean is an ingredient that is often used in homes. Usually soybean vegetables, soybean lentils, soybean chaat and soybean dumplings are made. But this time make soybean dal and serve it in dinner.

- To make lentils, first keep the soybean dal for about 4 hours.
- When the water in the dal is well dried, add 2 glasses of water in the cooker and cook till 6 whistles.
- During this time, wash the onion-tomatoes, peel and chop them. Then put it in the mixer and make a paste.
- Now heat 5 teaspoons of desi ghee in a pan and add mustard, cumin seeds and fry it.
- Now add tomato-onion paste and fry for 2 minutes. Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder and cook well.
- When the smell starts coming, now add boiled soybean dal and cook for some time and add salt, 1 teaspoon red chili according to taste and cook it.
- Cook until it comes to a boil and take out in a bowl, add green coriander on top and serve.

- Soyabean dal – 150 grams
- Onion – 1 (chopped)
- Tomatoes – 1 (chopped)
- Green chilli paste – 1/2 cup
- Ginger slice – 1 inch
- Green coriander – 1 handful (chopped)
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Salt – as per taste
