Vande Bharat Express: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 19 gifted the new route of Vande Bharat trains. Virtually flagging off the first semi-high speed train connecting Puri town with Howrah in West Bengal. During this, PM Modi said that Vande Bharat Train is a symbol of modern India. Whenever the Vande Bharat train runs from one place to another, both the speed and progress of India can be seen. This momentum will now be seen in Odisha and West Bengal as well.

At the same time, PM Modi further said that this is the time of Amrit Kaal and it is time to further strengthen the unity of India. He said that the stronger India’s unity, the more its collective capacity will increase. These Vande Bharat trains are also a reflection of this spirit. Now after the inauguration of these new routes, the Vande Bharat train will operate on a total of 16 routes.

• New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express: The first route of the Vande Bharat train is the New Delhi-Kanpur-Allahabad-Varanasi, which covers 759 km.
• Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (Jammu and Kashmir): This Vande Bharat train covers the route between New Delhi station and Mata Vaishno Devi’s Katra, which takes eight hours to reach. The train runs for six days except Tuesday.
• Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express: This Vande Bharat Express was launch by PM Modi on September 30, 2022. The train runs six days except Sunday and covers a distance of 522 km.
• New Delhi-Amb Andora Himachal Pradesh: This train runs for six days except Friday. The train reaches Amb Andora from New Delhi Railway Station.
• Chennai-Mysore Vande Bharat Express: This train runs for six days except Wednesday. The train reaches Mysore Junction covering a distance of 401 km from Chennai.

• Nagpur-Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express:

•  This train runs between Nagpur and Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. The train runs for six days except Saturday.
• Howrah – New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express: This train runs for six days except Wednesday. The train reaches New Jalpaiguri from Howrah Junction and covers a distance of 454 km in seven hours and thirty minutes.
• Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express: This train runs between Secunderabad in Telangana and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The train runs for six days except Sunday.
• Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express: This train runs between Solapur and Mumbai and covers its distance in 6 hours.
• Mumbai-Shirdi Vande Bharat Express:. This Vande Bharat train runs between Mumbai CST station and Sainagar Shirdi, covering the distance in five hours and 20 minutes.
• Hazrat Nizamuddin-Kamlapati Station Vande Bharat Express: .This train covers a distance of 45 km in seven hours and 700 minutes and runs for six days except Saturday.
• Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express: This train covers a distance of 8 km in 30 hours 660 minutes.
• Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express: This train runs between Chennai and Coimbatore and covers a distance of 495 km.
• Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express: This train covers a distance of 454 km in five hours.
• Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Vande Bharat Express: Kerala received the Vande Bharat Express train last month, which connects Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod. The train runs for six days except Thursday.
• Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express:. This train will run from Puri to Howrah in Orissa and will cover a distance of 6 km in 40 hours 502 minutes.
