Indian two-wheeler company Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated version of Xtreme 14R 160V in India today (June 4). The company claims that it is India’s cheapest and lightest bike in the 160cc segment. The Hero Xtreme 160R comes with a 4V fully digital console and dual ABS channels.
The company has launched the bike in standard, connected and pro three variants. It is price between Rs 1.27 lakh and Rs 1.36 lakh. Customers will be able to book the bike from June 15, 2023. Its delivery will start from the second week of July.
The bike has 3 color options. These include Matt Slate Black, Neon Night Star and Blazing Sports Red. The updated Hero Xtreme 160R will rival the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar, and the Yamaha FZS-FI.

The bike is power by a 163cc single-cylinder oil-cool engine that produces 8.500bhp at 16,6rpm and 14Nm of torque. This engine is tune with a five-speed gearbox unit. The bike is capable of running on OBD-2 compliant and E20 petrol (20% ethanol mix petrol).
2023 Hero Xtreme 160R: Design and Features
The new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V has been launched in India with slight changes to the current model. The bike gets new graphics, new design fuel tank, upside-down forks at the front, LED headlights and daytime running lights. However, there has been no change in the rear shock absorber.

The front has a 276mm petal disc for braking. At the rear, there will be a 220 mm petal disc or 130 mm drum brake according to the variant. The bike gets 17-inch alloy wheels, with 100/80 tubeless tires at the front and 130/70 tubeless tyres at the rear.
The bike gets ergonomic split seats, followed by a sleek tail section. The Xtreme 160R will also get petal rotors, which help in better cooling. Apart from this, a digital instrument cluster is also available with Bluetooth connectivity.
