Owen started his career with Bayern Munich, where he scored 5 goals in 145 appearances for The Bavarians.

Ferguson acquired a talented, dynamic midfielder to his lineup in July 2007 who could play either with Michael Carrick in a 4-2-3-1 system or in a four-man midfield. Although much of his career had been plagued by injuries, Hargreaves still had his finest years ahead of him at age 26.He had the capacity to inject pace and intensity into Ferguson’s tactical schemes, making him the combative player United’s midfield so needed. Unfortunately, his injuries prevented this from happening.

2. Mark Hughes

One of the best attackers to ever play at Old Trafford, perhaps. A prolific goal scorer, Mark Hughes likely contributed to as many goals as he scored. He used his massive, tree-trunk-like legs to combine the exquisite touch and elegance of a dancer with the acrobatics of a gymnast and the sheer strength of a sledgehammer. 3. Bastian Schweinsteiger

The German left winger made his name at Bayern Munich as an eccentric and generally unreliable player. When LVG was the club’s manager, he was transformed into a central player. He scored 42 goals in a whopping 342 appearances with The Bavarians. Additionally, he won several championships, including the 2013 UEFA Champions League. Before he joined them in 2015 for a rumoured sum of $9 million, Manchester United had never had a German play for them in the first team. Nevertheless, under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, he lost favour. He is largely regarded as one of his generation’s top midfielders.

4. Daley Blind

This guy from the Netherlands is another person to have graced both of these elite clubs. The former Manchester United player has frequently been regarded as being highly tactically astute. He is capable of playing as a defensive midfielder, a left-back, or an orthodox centre defender. Awarded Dutch Footballer of the Year honours for the 2013–14 campaign. Blind’s dazzling play unavoidably attracted the attention of rival teams, and Manchester United signed him that summer. He was able to work with fellow countryman Louis van Gaal as a result.

He made 226 total appearances for Ajax and 90 appearances for The Red Devils, scoring four goals in those 90 games.

5. Marcel Sabitzer

Sabitzer, the most recent addition to Erik Ten Haag’s team, is praised for his versatility on the field. His attitude and focus on the game have been praised by several managers. He is combative, muscular, and possesses a potent long-range shot. Nevertheless, he lost favour when Nagelsmann became Bayern Munich’s manager. He is still very young, so going on loan to Manchester United seems like a fantastic opportunity for him to develop his skills.

The majority of the football in the Bundesliga was played with them by the former captain of RB Leipzig. After transferring to Bayern Munich in 2021, he made 177 appearances and scored 40 goals. Despite the great calibre of Bayern Munich’s ranks, he dropped down the pecking order there. He was well utilised following his loan transfer from the Bavarians to Manchester United in the January 2023 transfer window.
